shop till we drop!

Hi all! Preparations continue for the journey to Ireland! Our last meeting took up most of a sunny Saturday but involved one of my favourite hobbies...shopping! We took the opportunity to head to the Seattle Premium Outlets and look for ideas for our dress and casual uniforms. Through luck, keen eyes and our very patient lone male shopper David humouring us, we ended up missing only a few pieces, but otherwise our uniforms are complete!

We have some fun pictures to share from our shopping extravaganza, which Julia or Debe will post shortly.

If anyone is interested in learning more about the GSE program or Rotary, check out www.rotary.org and click on "Service and Fellowship". Under Fellowship is where you find out more about the GSE program.

Happy Canada Day and Independance Day to all!

GSE Ireland Retreat - Hope, B.C.

Hello Friends!

Thank you so much for visiting our blog.
I have never posted on blog before - already I am learning so much!!
I will try to send out a couple posts per week to keep you updated on our progress in preparing for our trip to Ireland and of course when we are in Ireland.
Attached, you'll find pictures of Team Ireland's retreat at the Heinrich's Family Ranch in Hope B.C. on April 23, 24, & 25th. This retreat was made possible by Rotary District 5050 and Allen Heinrich who often resides at the home with his family. Allen was a part of the group that attended India. Allen's picture is at the bottom of this post.
MANY THANKS TO ALLEN & HIS FAMILY!!!

As you can see, the log home is absolutely beautiful inide and out.
It was the perfect setting to learn more about our fellow team members (and ourselves) through fun filled activities.

Stay tuned for more updates, pictures, & activities from all team members soon!
